“The Siena Hotel Spa & Casino has faced many hurdles in just the last year, but despite it all, the hotel is anticipating a brand new start on Monday, April 18. So what can we expect? Walking through the front doors, you'll first notice the water wall. It's a theme that will be echoed throughout the property.

"You go outside and you enjoy the river, you walk in and you still feel like you're around water," said Maryse Nicole, head designer of the hotel.”

Aimee's Dream Room

“Other enterprises that donated time, money, services and materials were; Caviar Crew Construction, Starr's Foam Design and Starr's Building Supplies, Melnikov Cabinetry, Sherwin Williams of Folsom, Scandinavian Designs of Fair Oaks, Folsom Floors to go, Midwest Tropical, Niki Gamboa – Muralist, Tashelle Harvey – Artist, Brand Aid Media, Tiana Vega, Couture Connection and others. Aimee made a thank you card and it was displayed on the top of the cabinetry for all who helped.”

Aimee is only 7 years old and has been battling Xeroderma Pigmentosum (or XP) ever since she was born.  XP causes a person to be extremely sensitive to the damaging effects of ultraviolet radiation.  In other words, Aimee has to spend all of her life hiding from the sun whether that is inside a house with special film on the windows or choosing to go outside completely covered from head to toe.  If she went outside, the UVs would cause her to burn and blister very bad.  Aimee has been such an amazing little girl to get to know so far and we look forward to building her dream bedroom.
